Good morning Matilda Class, I hope you are all ok and ready for another day of learning.
I am going to be uploading a video of me reading my favourite poem a little bit later on. The poem is called ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’.
When I was a little girl, I learnt this poem off by heart at school and I’ve always remembered it. Do you have a favourite poem? If so, why don’t you try and learn it off by heart. You could even perform it to your family.
My other favourite poem is ‘On the Ning Nang Nong’. I’ve copied it below for you to read. Whenever I teach this poem to children, the classroom is always filled with giggles so I hope you have a good giggle at home too.
