Mozart – Watercolour Painting

In Mozart, we have been using our fine art skills to create these beautiful pictures of trees representing the four seasons. We began by looking at lots of pictures and thinking about the colours we associate with each of the four seasons. The children then sketched their trees carefully before using watercolour paints to add colour and detail. We mixed different colours together to create a range of shades and thought carefully about the type of brush strokes we needed to use in order to create different effects for the leaves and the tree trunks.
