Year 4 Lennon McCartney – Take One Picture

Today, Year 4 started their Art project “Take One Picture”. We explored the painting ‘Men of the Docks’ by George Bellows and listened to a soundscape of what it might be like if we were there. Then we made some predictions about what we thought was happening in the painting and looked at how the painting changed if we stood closer or further away. After that, we used our sketching skills to draw a small part of the painting using our viewfinders that we made! We are excited to find out more about the context of the painting next week.
