Wednesday- Memorial Day

Today has been a really moving day for the children and adults.  We have visited Lochnagar Crater, Thiepval Memorial to the Missing, Beaumont Hamel and Vimy Ridge.  I’m not going to tell you about each place because Year 6 can tell you about them on their return as they share the photos below with you.

Once again, despite the weather and tiredness, an exceptional day of; great behaviour, wonderful shared background knowledge, questions and listening skills.  Off to Corners for dinner shortly before an early night ahead of tomorrow’s excitement.
