Year 1 Matilda

It was a busy week in Matilda class. We completed several pieces of writing including: a hot, cold and assessment piece. It is amazing to see how much their writing is improving! We also completed a practise phonics check. Don’t forget to use your phonics login to access all of the games we play in class on Phonicsplay. Every child has their login on a label on their reading record.

In Maths, we completed an arithmetic paper. The children have remembered so much from their addition and subtraction learning. We will continue to develop this in our lessons too.

Finally, the children have started a new piece of artwork. We have drawn the character Nobot the Robots head from our recent T4W unit. Next week, we will begin painting using Powder paints.
