Good morning Ennis Class
Good morning Ennis Class! Well, where did April go!? I can’t believe it’s now May, this year seems to be going so quickly.
What are your hopes and dreams for the new month of May? What are you hoping to do? Maybe you’re hoping to learn a new skill or get better at something. Let me know in the comments below what you are hoping and dreaming for.
I’m hoping to get faster at running, continue to read more books and I’m hoping I can see my friends and family soon to give them all a big hug. I’m also hoping to improve my cooking so that’s a new skill for me. I’m dreaming of a holiday in a very hot place. It’s nice to have something to dream about!
I hope you enjoy hearing me read the story of Mr Big today in English. Next week I’ll be reading another story everyday in Reading. I haven’t uploaded a class reader today. I want to stretch it out to next week to keep you in suspense and allow everyone to catch up if they need to. Then, we’ll start a new story. I’ve loved seeing all of your measuring activities in Maths. You’re going to need to use these skills in a couple of weeks, when we start instructions!
What have you got planned for this weekend? It’s my turn to do the family quiz so I’ve got some fun planned for Sunday afternoon. I’m also planning to start one of my hopes today and get better at cooking so today I’m trying out a new recipe. I’ll let you know how it goes!
I want to celebrate some more of your learning, so enjoy the pictures below from Bethany, Emilie, Flynn, Anthony and Anay.
Have a great weekend,
Miss Gedney
