Sports – Northamptonshire Virtual School Games Day – 9th July

Hi Everyone

I’ve seen some fantastic pictures from our Virtual Sports Day and already those scores are rolling in. Well done everyone for your hard work and keep those points adding up, only one day remaining!

So now is your chance to compete with all the other schools in Northampton buy joining us on July 9th for VIRTUAL SCHOOL GAMES DAY

The highlight of the sporting  year is usually the Summer County Finals Day where there should have been over 1500 competitors and 200 young leaders gathering at Moulton College, but this year it is not to be!

So instead of just a small proportion of schools and children and young people being able to access the School Games County Finals, Northamptonshire Sport have redirected their efforts and would like to invite EVERY SCHOOL in Northamptonshire to participate in NORTHAMPTONSHIRE VIRTUAL SCHOOL GAMES DAY on THURSDAY 9TH JULY 2020. Northamptonshire Sport have taken each of the 8 Virtual School Games Competition sports, and slightly adapted the challenges to produce a Virtual School Games Day programme that EVERYONE can get involved with, at school or at home. We would like to make this event the biggest School Games event the county has ever hosted and show our neighbouring School Sport Partnerships and Active Partnerships what can be achieved when School Sport Partnerships and their schools work together.
