Rowling Class 15 Books

Today, everyone has taken home a book from our 15 book list. We have some fantastic books to read in Year 3 and hopefully there will be a book that everyone enjoys. We are reading Charlotte’s Web as our first class reader this term, so you can already tick one book off from your list! Please read the book, tick it off on your sheet then return the book for changing on the same day that you change your reading books. This way, we can ensure everyone changes their books when needed.

Everyone should also have a copy of the 15 book list but if you do not, here is a copy below.

This year, if you read 5 of the 15 books, you will receive a bronze certificate. If you read 10 books, you will receive a silver certificate. If you read all 15 books from the book list, you will receive a special gold star reader badge! This is really exciting and hopefully we will see everyone wearing their badges with pride on their jumper.

We’ve had another great week in Rowling class this week with lots of exciting learning taking place. I have been especially proud of our writing over the last 2 days where we have been writing our own warning tales. I’m looking forward to reading them in detail tonight!

Don’t forget: Key Skills has been set on Teams but is also in your books. This will happen for the next 3 weeks, before Key Skills is only set on Microsoft Teams. Please try to access this before half term so that we can help you if needed.
