Year 3 Strings Project

After 10 weeks of learning to play a String instrument, the violin or the cello, Year 3 spent this afternoon filming a Virtual Assembly for everyone to enjoy.

As I write this blog post I’m smiling from ear to ear because I am SO proud of how well everyone did and how much we have learnt in 10 weeks. The weeks have flown by and I’m sure we’ll miss our Thursday afternoon music session with Mrs Cliffe and Miss B.

It’s such a shame that we couldn’t perform to our families in person, however Mrs Davies stayed to watch and Mrs Fennelly joined us too! They were both incredibly impressed of our performance.

It was a very intense hour of practising and performing and our adrenaline was pumping at the end of the day, so we took some time to think about 2 things that made us happy and 2 things that we were proud of. Top of the list was performing with the violin!

I’m really enjoying putting our performance video together now and I can’t wait to share it with you all, I hope you’ll be as proud as I am!

A huge thanks to Mrs Cliffe and Miss B from NMPAT for their hard work in teaching us all.
