Forest School

What a wet and muddy afternoon we had at Forest School today! With layers and layers of clothes on, we headed up into the forest area for a fun-filled afternoon. Whilst exploring, we found lots of different leaves which we had to match to pictures to identify which type of trees they had come from. We also found a very big spider, nestled in some of the tarpaulin. Needless to say, I didn’t go too close!

We collected some twigs which had been blown from the trees and came back to the classroom to get creative. We used them to make pictures of trees, adding feathers, sequins, pom-poms and stickers to decorate them. I think you will agree with me that they look very beautiful.
