Paddington Class Year 1

The children have had a fantastic first week back at school and have settled in well to the new routines.

We have enjoyed writing and innovating our own changes in the story of ‘Nobot the Robot’ and have had lots of fun coming up with new characters and deciding what they are going to loose. Today we are going to write our very own lost and found story.

In Maths we have been working on our multiplication by looking at our equal groups in arrays and especially focusing on our rows.

Yesterday we enjoyed our Science experiment, where we tested the walls we had made to see if they were waterproof or absorbent and put to use all of the new science vocabulary we have learned to describe the properties of the different materials.

Next week we will continue to have P.E on a Wednesday and Thursday and this time it will be Paddington’s turn for forest school on Friday.
