Year 5 Einstein – Parachute Investigation

We investigated what makes the best parachute. We decided which variable to investigate and which to keep constant – size, shape, length of the guides or weight. After testing them, we recorded the results of how long it took to fall to the ground and discussed how effective the parachute design was. We investigated air resistance indoors and outdoors but the weather was against us today so everyone has taken their parachute home to investigate further.
