Dart maths

A fabulous afternoon in Wiggins and Robinson again today. We were using our turn taking skills to play games with each other in line with our targets. We had children using their phonics knowledge, counting, exploring calculation and sentence writing. One group were challenged to compete at darts, use mental maths strategies to calculate their score, enter their results on a table and find out the winner after three rounds. Something I was also proud of was their ability to congratulate each other without any prompting from myself. I think we will be revisiting our darts skills in the near future!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
