Y5: Textile art project
What a brilliant day we have had in Year 5 today! The children have worked their socks off to produce beautiful designs on the theme of an enchanted forest, linked to our recent work in English on A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We are so proud of them for what they have achieved. Working in small groups, they have sketched and painted their own design onto cotton with fabric dyes. The results are stunning- and we’re only half way through! Please look at the blog again tomorrow for pictures of their finished creations. Well done everyone!
