Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training

Today, 32 volunteers from Year 5 spent their morning receiving online training from a representative of the Diana Award charity.  In preparation for becoming Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in September, they explored; the different types of bullying, how to identify bullying behaviours and how to promote positivity and friendship.  We then spent time planning our campaign that will launch in the autumn term.  Mrs Phelps and Mrs de Board were incredibly impressed by the engagement, enthusiasm and ideas of every single volunteer and are so excited to work together on this whole school project in the coming months and years.  The trainer also commented on the maturity and participation of all the students.

We look forward to sharing more information about the initiative in the coming months.
