Year 2 Ennis Science

Ennis class have had a wonderful afternoon planting seeds with Mrs Holland. The children have begun their topic on the growth of plants by planting either a bean or a sunflower. The children thought carefully about what the seed shall need to grow and will continue to observe what happens between germination and growth. In this unit, the children shall also learn that seeds and bulbs have a store of food insider of them and will make a comparative test to show that plants need light and water to stay healthy.

We cannot wait to watch our seeds grow and see what happens.
