Welcome Back Churchill Class

Churchill class have made a wonderful start to Year 6.  Mrs Greener, Mrs Egan and Mrs de Board have been incredibly impressed as they have already shown themselves to be responsible, mature and curious learners and we’re only three days in!  We are already immersed in our Harry Potter themed persuasive writing unit, our alternative fairy tales for reading and the World War Two history unit.  We still have art and science to come!

Also impressive is the summer key skills where students were asked to research and present information about the leader our class is named after:  Winston Churchill.  You can see some of the work here and much more is displayed in the Year 6 corridor for other children to enjoy.

We are really looking forward to this year and all the amazing outcomes we will achieve together.
