Year 4 Lennon-McCartney – Character change stories

Today, we started writing the first 2 paragraphs of our character change stories based on our model text Mr Big. We had to make sure that we included lots of writerly tools to describe our characters at the start such as:
– Describing their actions
– Describing their clothes
– Describing their routine
– Showing how the weather reflects the character’s feeling
– Explaining how the character moves / does something

Here are some examples of our first drafts – I’m sure you will agree that they are amazing so far and include lots of the tools we have been learning about! We are looking forward to finishing them off tomorrow and doing more editing to improve them even more!
