Reception Artists!

We have had a very exciting week in Reception!

This week we learnt how to be real artists. We learnt how to use paintbrushes, powder paints, practiced mixing our own colours, and we even washed up all of our equipment. We are going to make our paintings into lovely leaves for our autumn display.

This week we also celebrated National Poetry Day. The Reception Team read some of our favourite poems to the class, and shared our love of reading with the children.
