Mozart – Computing

In Mozart class, we have had great fun in our Computing lessons so far this term, as we have been learning how to use a very exciting programme called Scratch! The children have all learnt how to ‘program’ a sprite (‘Scratch the cat’), and have really enjoyed discovering how to make this sprite move, turn and point in a different direction. We have also learnt how to change the backdrop of the stage and turn our motion ‘blocks’ into sequences so that the sprite can do lots of different motions at once!

Our digital leaders have been fantastic helpers during our lessons, and the children have showed great enthusiasm towards computing in general. There is so much more to learn over the coming weeks, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the children’s completed projects by the end of term!

Miss Robson 🙂
