Churchill Class- The Tempest

Today we started our annual Shakespeare unit in English- this year we are studying The Tempest.  We spent time exploring the different plot patterns that intertwine to create a story of shipwreck, magic, the struggle for power, friendship and love. Churchill Class took short scenes from the play and dramatised them to create a 20 minute retelling. It was great to be back in the classroom with Year 6 and we are looking forward to seeing their understanding of the play develop over the coming weeks.
