Einstein – RE

Today is RE we learned about, Sukkot, which means ‘booths’ and refers to the temporary dwellings that Jews are commanded to live in during this holiday in memory of the time the Israelites spent wandering in the wilderness. Sukkot is a holiday of joy.

The essential thing about the hut is that it should have a roof of branches and leaves, through which those inside can see the sky, and that it should be a temporary and flimsy thing.

We made a model Sukkah. and covered the top of it in things that have grown from the earth, which we gathered from outside.
