‘The Arrival’ in Reception.

We have had a fantastic start to the summer term!

The children have come back to school excited and ready for another term of fun learning!

This week we have been doing a whole school unit on the picture book ‘The Arrival’ by Shaun Tan. We have been working in groups to create our own stories, using story mountains, to then write up ourselves.

The children have come up with the most amazing ideas, and we are all so proud of their work. Have a look in the collage below at a couple of examples.
