Eid in Reception!

This week in Reception we have been learning all about Eid.

We listened carefully to a story about a little girl called Amira. Her and her family were all excited in preparation for Eid! They used decorations, food, traditional clothing, prayers, gifts and family time to celebrate.

The children also learnt about mehndi pattern designs, used to decorate the hands and arms of the ladies and girls, using a special henna. The children then made their own fabulous designs!
