Year 3 Dahl – Anglo-Saxon Artefacts

In our History lesson today, we learnt about what an artefact is and how these help us learn about the past.  Together, we looked at a picture of an artefact and thought about what it might be, what it is made from and what it might tell us about the Anglo-Saxons. We found out that it was a ring made from silver that was found in the River Thames! Afterwards, we spent time looking at some more artefacts, thinking about what they might be and what they tell us about the past.
