Well done Wiggins Class

Well done to all the children in the class this week for such great work.

We have practised writing our numbers lots this week and the children have made great progress in this area of their learning. We have also been learning how to compare sets of items and how to use mathematical vocabulary to talk about what we understand.

Forest School was wonderful again on Thursday. The children worked cooperatively to carry water to different areas of the forest, played a lovely game of hide and seek and stamped in some very muddy puddles, with one child losing their welly in the middle of it!

We had another exciting session of Music Bugs this week. The children love the songs and the chance to play so many different musical instruments. We were also challenged to try and keep lots of plastic balls on the parachute whilst making waves and shaking it slowly. The class are getting very good at racing to collect as many as they can from around the classroom at the end of each session!

Today we have been out and about in the minibus, identifying more local landmarks. We drove round the lift tower roundabout three times to get a good look, comparing the height of it to the beanstalk that Jack climbed!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
