Wow what a week in Reception!

What a fabulous week we have had. Our very first school trip on a coach to Crocodiles of the World. Everyone was very excited and we learnt so much about crocodiles, alligators, meerkats (most common comment….”they are so cute!”), tortoises and snakes. There were some very tired, sleeping children on the coach back. A great day 😀

And then…we had our whole school Jubilee celebrations. We wore our party crowns and had a picnic lunch on the fields with the whole school. In the afternoon we sang and danced to our song from the sixties ‘Twist and Shout!’ And everyone said Reception children were amazing and they were, as were every other year group. Absolutely fabulous to have so many parents and families to watch the children.

Reception, we are all very proud of how well behaved you all were, both on our trip and during the performances today. Well done!
