Paddington Class are all stars!

Today we celebrated the class’ achievements this week by all receiving star of the week after such great determination was shown during the phonics checks this.  Everyone worked really hard and absolutely did their best, I am so proud – star of the week well deserved!

In our Science lessons in this week we looked at tomato, cucumber and strawberry plants.  We noticed that their leaves are different shapes and looked at their stems and roots.  We really like the smell of the tomato plants and are looking forward to trying the tomatoes and strawberries we will hopefully see ripen on our plants soon.

We also had a great afternoon in Forest School building and cleaning a shelter, finding insects, collecting litter and cooking a feast in the mud kitchen.

I am looking forward to our trip on Monday, please remember to bring:

  • Lunch in a disposable bag (NO nuts)
  • Named, disposable water bottle
  • Sun hat/rain coat depending on the weather (named) – at the moment, the forecast suggests sunny spells

Have a great weekend,

Mrs Egan
