First Aid Training from the Red Cross

Year 6 were extremely lucky to receive initial first aid training information delivered by the Red Cross yesterday morning. Over our hour session, we covered: what to do if someone has a medical emergency, what to do if someone is struggling to breathe, how to stop a wound from bleeding and the role of bystanders.

Both classes asked questions which really impressed Kate from the Red Cross, demonstrating a fantastic knowledge of emergency first aid. What an important skill to take with you to secondary school.
