Year 3 Rowling- Realistic Eyes

This week in art the children have been working hard on their observational skills and portrait sketching to sketch realistic eyes.

First, the children looked at different images of eyes and identified the differences in the shape and features of the eyes.

Next, we looked at different eye shapes and considered what shape matches our own eyes. The children then had a go at sketching the different eye shapes. The children reflected on their sketches and considered what went well in their sketches and what they wanted to work on.

Brilliant work, well done Rowling!
