This afternoon, we concluded our unit of work on Islam in RE, where we have been exploring the enquiry question: What is important to Muslims? After learning about Ramadan and why Muslims fast during daylight hours during this period of the year, we explored a range of artefacts to consolidate our learning from across the unit. These artefacts included: prayer mats, a Qur’an, a range of books and prayer beads. You can see us examining these artefacts below:
