Which was a better time to be alive – the Stone, Bronze or Iron Age?

This term in History, the children have really enjoyed learning all about prehistoric Britain. We have spent the last 6 weeks learning all about life from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. It is amazing how much knowledge we have developed in such a short space of time. The children were shocked at how different life was then compared to how life is now. Throughout the term, the children have been asking some really interesting questions to find out more about this time which has been wonderful to see.

Yesterday, the children were asked which time would of have been better to be alive in. This formed a great discussion amongst the class with the children showing great discussion skills. It was amazing to see all the children using stem sentences to state their opinion to the class. After a great discussion, we came to a conclusion that the Iron Age would have been a better time to be alive.
