Forest school in Reception!

We have had a fantastic start to our second half term in Reception!

We have taken part in our whole school talk for writing unit, where we explored some poetry about conkers. This meant taking our first trip to Forest School, where we had so much fun exploring and investigating. We then came back into the classroom and did some paintings of conkers and their husks, where the children were being so careful and considerate with their colour mixing. Our end result was a lovely poem, using the children’s exciting vocabulary.
