Year 3 Dahl – Amazing Maths!

Our maths lessons this week have been focussed on learning to use column addition to solve calculations with larger numbers. Everyone has worked incredibly hard this week and we are now all able to spot when a calculation will bridge a ten or hundred and require us to exchange. Through using dienes, drawing pictures and making links to known number facts, we are able to add a 3-digit and 2-digit number together. It was lovely to see how proud everyone was of their work today – well done everyone!
