Year 2 Murray – Maths

This week in Murray class we have been learning how to subtract a 1 digit number from a 2 digit number and then subtracting a 2 digit number from a 2 digit number!

We have been consolidating some prior learning and have been drawing pictorial representations to help us to solve the calculations. Murray class have enjoyed using the dienes to exchange a ten for ten ones and then putting this into a representation in our books.

As you can see from the pictures below, there is some beautiful presentation in our maths books this week!
