Romeo and Juliet in Paddington Class

It has been brilliant to see Paddington class today and hear about all the exciting adventures the children got up to over the holiday.  I am really proud of how quickly the children settled back into learning this morning, showing how thoughtful as well as being hardworking and imaginative they all are.

We looked at some clues about the characters in the play Romeo and Juliet and thought about the characters there might be who would use them, some of the great ideas were:

I knight or a pirate might use the sword.

A king, queen or prince will wear the crown.

A princess or someone posh will wear the cape.

A Christian, a vicar or a priest will use the bible.

We looked at the masks and talked about how they might be used to be in disguise and hide from other people.
