Year 3 Dahl – Happy New Year and Welcome Back!

We have had a great first week back to school after our Christmas break! It has been lovely to see everyone and hear all about the exciting things that took place over the Christmas holiday. We have been so impressed with how well everyone has returned and got straight back into the swing of things by following classroom routines, working hard and learning lots!

This week, we started our unit of work on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. After reading the story, we have spent some time learning about key characters and the links between these. We are really looking forward to continuing to learn more about the play over the next few weeks!

Moving forward this term, our PE days will continue to be on a Monday and Tuesday. We no longer have swimming on a Tuesday, so please ensure children come to school wearing their full PE kit on both of these days. At least one of these PE sessions will be outdoors so please make sure that children have a coat with them on these days.
