Drama in Paddington Class

We have been talking about robots this week ahead of our next writing unit based on the book Nobot the Robot which is all about a robot who looses his bottom! Today we watched a short film titled Light about a different robot and thought about how the characters relate to each other, how they feel and what they might say if their was speech in the film.  The children worked brilliantly in pairs discussing what they might say as the character and performed their scenes brilliantly with expressive clear voices.  We learnt about how speech is written in stories and will use this skill in our own stories over the next few weeks.  Here are some pictures of our wonderful actors and script writers!
