Reporters in Paddington Class
At the beginning of the week we were surprised to find coloured footprints and slime in our classroom. We have spent the week writing reports about what we think left them. The children had some great ideas about what the strange creature might eat, where they might live and what they might look like. The children have enjoyed presenting their reports as if they are news reporters with microphones, they practiced reading their work with clear confident voices and expression where needed. Here are some of the questions and ideas the children had about the strange findings:
Is it a colour monster who eats up worries?
Where have they gone now? Did they visit other schools?
It is a giant who stood in our box of chalks?!
Why do they only have two toes?
Do they eat slime?
