Periscopes

Today, Mandela explored how mirrors can be used to help people with a specific focus on the use of periscopes. The children found out about about the history of periscopes, the ways they are used by people and the science behind how they work. Next, they attempted to create a model of how the light ray reflects twice off of two mirrors angled at 45 degrees to create their own demonstration of a periscope. Some fabulous examples were created!
