Robinson Class meet the Mayor and Mayoress

The children in Robinson class have been star struck today as we had a special visitor. The Mayor and Mayoress of Northampton came into our classroom to discuss our fantastic new outdoor classroom. The children loved meeting them and asked a few questions. We learnt about the special chains they wear. We learnt they are over 800 years old and are worth lots of money. The Mayor said if you touch the gold it gives you good luck so all of the children had a go. The children then shook hands with the Mayor and Mayoress before they left.

The children said it was amazing and their favourite part of the day.
