The children in Year 4 worked really hard this week and completed their summer assessments with a brilliant attitude. They have shown great perseverance and determination when learning their times tables, and this hard work paid off when it came to completing the Multiplication Check! Most of the children have now completed this, and we are so proud of them for the progress they have made across this year.
What a lovely end to the week, as we had our day trip to the National Art Gallery in London on Friday – the children thoroughly enjoyed their time there and were excited to see ‘Surprised!’ by Henri Rousseau in person. They also learnt about Picasso and Van Gogh, and had a go at sketching some of the paintings in their sketchbooks.
Well done, Year 4!
