Geography in Rowling!

Over the past two weeks, the children have been enjoying ‘Geography Fieldwork Fortnight!’ Everyday at 9am and 12pm, we have been recording the temperature and rainfall. The children have been making sensible predictions about what they think the temperature will be each time. We have found that each day the temperature was higher at 12pm, this allowed us to have a brilliant discussion about the sun’s placement during the day and how this could have an impact the temperature.

The children have also been enjoying learning all about recycling this term and why it is important to help save our environment. Today, we created posters to persuade the public to recycle. Here are some of the brilliant posters produced. Well done Rowling!
