Rivers in Mozart class
Mozart class have been learning all about rivers as part of their Geography unit this term! Focusing on the question ‘How are the River Nile and the River Nene similar?’ the children have learnt all about how a river is formed and how it makes its journey through the upper, middle and lower courses. They were excited to learn that the River Nene is so close by! After learning about its features, we had a go at drawing and labelling our own sketch maps.
Also in Geography, we have been doing some of our very own fieldwork. Each day, the children have been measuring how much rainfall we have had and what the temperature is, and we have been recording this data in tables. Next week, we will be interpreting this data and creating a bar chart to represent what we have found.
Well done, Mozart!
