Exploring Arrays!
This week in Maths we have been solving a variety of multiplication problems using repeated addition and multiplication strategies. On Thursday we had a practical lesson which focused on exploring arrays. We used a variety of practical resources such coloured gems, mini figures, different transport vehicles, egg cartons and muffin trays.
We had a great maths lesson and children were able to explain the difference between a row and a column and linked multiplication to their prior knowledge of the commutative law.
Well done Ennis class!!
