Wiggins Science Experiments!

An exciting afternoon of experimentation was had today involving liquids, gas and solids! We explored ice, the solid, deciding what we needed to turn it back into water, the liquid. We melted chocolate, another solid and it too turned into liquid! We quickly added cornflakes to this and put it in the fridge to see if we could turn it back into a solid!  Lastly we examined the bubbles from a fizzy drink erupt “like a volcano”, to make gas!

We found out we needed heat to melt the solids and a microwave was probably better than a hairdryer!
