Year 3 Dahl – Maths!

It has been another busy week in Dahl class with lots of learning taking place! In our maths lessons, we have been learning about different three different types of angles – right angles, obtuse angles and acute angles.

Today, we learnt about different types of lines, starting with horizontal and vertical lines. We then moved on to looking at parallel and perpendicular lines. We used lollypop sticks to help us explore the different ways we could make these types of lines before finding examples of these in a range of different shapes!
