A Wonderful Week in Dahl Class!

Another week has flown by in Dahl class as we have been busy learning lots of new things!

We have all really enjoyed starting our new Talk for Writing unit based on a report about the Northampton Ridge-back Dragon. After watching a video showing one of these creatures roaming around the school playground, we read a report to find out more about this rare species! We have spent the rest of our week learning how to write a report, thinking carefully about the purpose of our writing.

In Maths, we have been busy using known number facts and scaling these to help us solve larger calculations. We have also been spotting patterns and making connections when counting in multiples of 5 and in multiples of 50.

Everyone has worked really hard this week and produced some fantastic work. Have a great weekend everyone and remember to keep your eyes peeled for any signs that a Northampton Ridge-back Dragon might be nearby!
