Computing in Murray Class

Murray class had another exciting computing lesson this week where we continued our learning about programming robots.
We started by using four commands only and finding 4 different algorithms. It was important to find four different algorithms to show that you can program in different ways.

After this, we then used the bee bots and a large A3 map and we used our algorithms. First we made a prediction about where the bee bot would end up before programming the robot to check if we were correct.

It was great to see whether our predictions were right and then we discussed where we had made an error and corrected them together.
Next week we are going to be programming the robots again but using someone else’s algorithm!
