Wiggins Class

We have had a brilliant start to the new school term in our class. The children settled quickly into the school routines and were all pleased to be back with their friends, ready for great learning.

Just like the rest of the school, we have embarked on our new English unit of work, Romeo and Juliet. We have learnt that the main characters were from two different families who were not friends, the Montagues and the Capulets. We discovered that Romeo and Juliet fell in love with each other, not realising that they were from rival families.

The children enjoyed using the props and dressing up, each one wearing a masquerade mask. We are looking forward to learning about the ball that Romeo and Juliet went to, and perhaps dancing to some of the music they may have heard.

The class have worked hard in all areas of their work and I can see that this term is going to be just as brilliant as the last.

Well done Wiggins Class, keep up the great work!
